Terms & Conditions

ClassLedger is a coaching management platform that helps coaching centres ("Coaching," "you") manage students, batches, attendance, fees, and parent communication over WhatsApp. These Terms govern your use of ClassLedger ("we," "us," "our").

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into ClassLedger, including student details and guardian phone numbers.
• You confirm that you have the appropriate consent from parents/guardians to send them WhatsApp messages (fee reminders, absence alerts, etc.) through ClassLedger on your behalf.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

ClassLedger does not process payments. We are not a payment gateway or financial institution.

• Fees collected from parents: all fee payments between you and your students' guardians happen directly — via UPI, bank transfer, or cash — outside the ClassLedger platform. ClassLedger only records the payment status you report to us; we never receive, hold, or transmit these funds.
• Your ClassLedger subscription: payment for your ClassLedger subscription is made directly to us via UPI or another manual method we agree on — not through an automated payment gateway. Your account status is updated once we confirm receipt of payment.

• New Coachings receive a free trial period (currently 30 days) with no payment required upfront.
• After the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription under one of our published plans.
• Founding/locked-in pricing: if you subscribe at a given rate, that rate is locked in for as long as your subscription remains continuously active, even if our public pricing changes later. If your subscription is cancelled and you later resubscribe, you will be charged the then-current public rate.
• Refunds: payments already made are non-refundable, but you may cancel at any time to stop future charges.
• If payment is not received for a paid subscription, we reserve the right to suspend access until payment is made.

You agree to use ClassLedger only for legitimate coaching-related communication and administration. You agree not to:

• Use ClassLedger to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or any communication unrelated to your coaching's operations.
• Attempt to access another Coaching's data.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

You own the data you enter into ClassLedger (student records, attendance, fee information). ClassLedger acts only as the platform that stores and processes this data on your behalf, per our Privacy Policy.

ClassLedger is provided "as is." While we work to keep the service reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or guaranteed delivery of every WhatsApp message (message delivery ultimately depends on WhatsApp/Meta's systems, which are outside our control). To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassLedger is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to missed fee payments, delayed messages, or data entry errors made by the Coaching.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, we will retain your data for a reasonable period in case you wish to reactivate, after which it may be deleted upon request or per our standard retention practice (see Privacy Policy).

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gujarat, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ClassLedger after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
